Yet another year and another Download Festival. As usual with this festival a contriversial and varied line-up was the order of the day.rnrnFriday:rnrnThe opening day kicked off on the main stage with US band Black Tide (6.5/10) where each member is around 17 years old! Their take on 80s thrash was a nice way of opening the festival and covers of tracks...

Here I am Wembley Arena, in the pantheon of Rock Royalty: Judas Priest, Megadeth and Testament all on the same stage.
Testament (10/10), like fellow thrash brothers Megadeth (who are on later), have been around for ever and who’s recent resurgence has been welcomed not only by myself but by many others within the thrash community.
