Anathema Description

Liverpool is too often depicted in the media as a miserable, violent shithole. When it comes to music though, they seem to produce upbeat jangly bands bearing no likeness whatsoever to the city that surrounds them. In its short life the Download festival has become famous for the odd turkey headliner (My Chemical Romance, Feeder… you get the idea) but there were no such problems this year.
